An hour later, he commented on efforts to redraw the boundaries of his congressional district, writing at 9:43 p.m.: "MO-05 is the heart of Kansas City, our people, our culture, our economic engine. Trump and Missouri Republicans want to carve it up to cling to power, but they will not silence the voices of Kansas Citians without a fight."
Later that evening at 10:50 p.m., Cleaver celebrated Kansas City’s football spirit with a brief message: "Been holding this in too long. Happy Red Friday #ChiefsKingdom! https://t.co/EshUUFimv1"
