Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Missouri's 5th district since 2005, has shared his thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets. These messages touch upon local concerns and national policies, reflecting his ongoing engagement with constituents and broader political matters.

On January 28, 2025, Rep. Cleaver expressed concern for Missourians and local small businesses regarding potential impacts from delayed projects due to an executive order being adjudicated in court. He stated: "Hardworking Missourians and local small businesses deserve to know whether they will be impacted as projects are delayed while this executive order is adjudicated in court."

The following day, January 29, he extended greetings for the Lunar New Year to those celebrating both locally in Missouri's 5th district and globally. His tweet read: "Happy Lunar New Year to all those celebrating in #MO05 and around the world! As we welcome the new year, I wish all those who celebrate a year of good health, happiness, and prosperity!"

Later on January 29, Rep. Cleaver criticized the President's executive orders for creating "mass chaos and confusion," vowing to oppose efforts that could defund essential services such as community health centers and veteran support programs. He remarked: "As the President sows mass chaos and confusion with his unconstitutional executive orders, I will continue to push back against his extreme effort to defund everything from community health centers to veteran support programs."
