Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Missouri's 5th district, has been vocal on various issues through his social media presence. Born in Waxahachie, Texas, in 1944 and residing in Kansas City, Cleaver has been a congressional representative since 2005 after succeeding Karen McCarthy.

On November 18, 2024, Rep. Cleaver expressed support for the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law's impact on local projects within his district. He highlighted the law's role in enhancing infrastructure across Independence and Kansas City: "Whether it’s investments to improve infrastructure in Independence, repair old bridges throughout Kansas City, or support local projects that boost economic activity across #MO05, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is delivering For The People!"

The following day, November 19, 2024, he addressed international affairs by commenting on Russia's actions against Ukraine. He stated: "For 1,000 days, Putin has pursued a ruthless, relentless campaign to subjugate a free and democratic Ukraine. And still, the people of Ukraine refuse to back down to this authoritarian thug. The U.S. must stand for freedom around the world by continuing to #StandWithUkraine!"

Later that day, Rep. Cleaver congratulated fellow members of Congress on their leadership roles within the House Democrats: "Congratulations to @RepJeffries, @WhipKClark, and @RepPeteAguilar on their election to lead @HouseDemocrats through the 119th Congress! Together let us continue to pursue bipartisan solutions that lower costs and expand opportunity For The People!"
