On December 2, 2024, Rep. Cleaver expressed satisfaction about participating in a conversation with John Holt of Fox4KC regarding his congressional efforts and their effects on families in Western Missouri. Later that day, Cleaver condemned recent violent incidents in Kosovo. In his tweet dated December 2, 2024, he stated: "I join in condemning the Nov. 29 attack on critical infrastructure in Kosovo and the grenade attacks a few days earlier at local government buildings." He emphasized that violence is incompatible with democratic values and reiterated U.S. support for identifying those responsible.

In another post on December 2, 2024, Rep. Cleaver highlighted the constitutional responsibility of Congress concerning presidential appointments: "The Founding Fathers gave Congress the responsibility of ensuring the President fills their Cabinet with competent, qualified individuals who will best serve the American people." He urged the Senate to fulfill its duty by scrutinizing nominations critically.
