On Wednesday, March 26, former Lee's Summit High School standout Nick Beech’s current college team, the Central Missouri Mules, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Washburn Ichabods.

The game took place at Crane Stadium at Tompkins Field. This was their first matchup against the Ichabods this season.

The Mules’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 3 p.m. at Crane Stadium at Tompkins Field against Fort Hays State Tigers.
