On Friday, Jan. 31, former Lee's Summit Senior High School standout Ashlyn Cook’s current college team, the Central Washington Wildcats, lost 5-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Golden Eagles Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. at Gary & Bobbi Frederick Field against Hawaii Pacific Sharks.
