Tuesday, March 11: Blue Springs High School standout Carter Schmidt’s college team loses to Maryville Saints

On Tuesday, March 11, former Blue Springs High School standout Carter Schmidt’s current college team, the Missouri Western Griffons, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Maryville Saints.

The game took place at Weber Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Saints this season.

The Griffons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 2 p.m. at McCarthy Field against Newman Jets.
