On Wednesday, March 5, former Blue Springs High School standout Trent Martin’s current college team, the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.

The game took place at J. L. Johnson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Redbirds this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at J. L. Johnson Stadium against Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles.
