Former Lee's Summit High School standout Nick Beech played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Lee's Summit High School standout Nick Beech’s current collegiate team the Central Missouri Mules won 8-21 against the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Crane Stadium at Tompkins Field at 6 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys in the tournament.

The Central Missouri Mules’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 6 p.m. at Crane Stadium at Tompkins Field.
