Sydney Cure, former Lee's Summit North High School standout, played on Saturday, Feb. 22 in NCAA Division II softball game

On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Lee's Summit North High School standout Sydney Cure’s current college team, the William Jewell Cardinals, lost 10-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Winona State Warriors.

The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their third matchup against the Warriors this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Cardinal Field against Wayne State Wildcats.
