Saturday, Feb. 15: Lee's Summit Senior High School standout Ashlyn Cook’s college team loses to San Francisco State Gators

On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Lee's Summit Senior High School standout Ashlyn Cook’s current college team, the Central Washington Wildcats, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the San Francisco State Gators.

The game took place at Pedretti Park. This was their first matchup against the Gators this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 2:30 p.m. at Bobby Welch Halle Field against Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks.
