On Friday, Feb. 7, former Grain Valley High School standout Lauren Parker’s current college team, the Kansas City Roos, lost 14-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UTEP Miners.

The game took place at Helen of Troy Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Miners this season.

The Roos’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. at NM State Softball Complex against New Mexico State Aggies.
